White Chocolate and Cherry, Chocolate Muffins

Saturday was the release of the Benjamin Generation's first EP 'Miles and Miles', so being as they had used one of my photos on the cover I thought it only honouring to turn up to the release gig with a tub of muffins in hand - as a nice accompaniment to their chip shop dash.

In a large bowl sift together:
300g self raising flour
50g cocoa
Stir in:
220g caster sugar

In a small bowl mix together:
90g melted butter
half cup sour cream
three quarters cup of milk
1 large egg

Stir the wet into the dry then stir in:
100g white chocolate chunks
half cup chopped glace cherries

Divide the mixture between 12 muffin cases
Bake on Gas 5/6 for 20-25 minutes
Leave in the tin for a few minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool
