This time I stirred 375g self raising flour, 220g caster sugar and about half a teaspoon of nutmeg, together in a large bowl.
then I mixed together (in a small bowl) - 90g melted butter, a quarter of a cup of milk, half a cup of sour cream and 2 large eggs fresh from the hens, then grated in the zest of one lime.

Add 1 cup of chopped pears (I used tinned ones)
Then divide the mixture evenly between the 12 muffins cases in a muffin tray
and bake for 20-25 mins on gas 5/6
I'll let you know who was right - lime or no lime!
