At school the other day I was confronted with a blind taste testing comparing orange with grapefruit cake. Now I have never liked grapefruit, but that cake was definitely the best, the overall opionion was that the grapefruit made a more zingy flavour than orange. so naturally I figured I had better replicate the muffin version of this and make a zingy breakfast muffin.
Hopefully these will wake up my house guests when they attempt to leave at five in the morning to go climbing in the lake district for a few days. I think I'll let them see themselves out!
